1. Armed Robbery (1830) 300 Block of South San Joaquin Street, Seaport District

The male victim, 50, was in the area when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect pistol-whipped the victim with a handgun and stole his property before fleeing. The victim sustained non-life-threatening injuries and refused medical attention. SUSPECT: Black male adult.

2. Resisting Arrest (2132) 9000 Block of Warm Springs Circle, Valley Oak District

Officers responded to the area on a report of a female asking for help. The suspect attempted to prevent officers from speaking with the female. When officers attempted to detain the suspect, he fled, and force had to be used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Whathana Vorn, 38, for resisting arrest and child abuse.

3. Person Shot (2200) Alabama Avenue and Glendale Avenue, Seaport District

The male victim, 63, was walking in the area when he was approached by the suspect. The suspect brandished a firearm and demanded the victim’s property. The victim and suspect struggled over the firearm, and the suspect shot the victim. The suspect fled on a bicycle with the victim’s property. The victim was treated at a local hospital for a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: Hispanic of Asian male adult.
