Exit 4 defendant arrested and extradited
A Wilmington man has been arrested and extradited to Delaware in connection with the Wilmington-area Exit 4 gang indictment that included ten individuals and more than 135 charges.
On January 28, Nasiir Watson was extradited to Delaware for his initial appearance in New Castle County Superior Court, and given $1,620,000 cash bail. Watson, 23, is charged with Murder First Degree, four counts of Attempted Murder First Degree, two counts of Conspiracy First Degree, Conspiracy Second Degree, Illegal Gang Participation, six counts of Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony, Receiving Stolen Property, two counts of Possession or Control of a Firearm by a Person Prohibited, and Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony. Watson is currently being held in New Jersey, where he faces separate pending charges.
"I am thankful to the investigators, prosecutors and police whose hard work led to the defendant’s arrest,” said Attorney General Kathy Jennings. “This is an important step toward achieving justice for these victims. Our hearts are with their loved ones at this difficult time.”
Between January 2020 and December 2024, Watson and eight other members of Exit 4 are alleged to have committed crimes including the murder of at least three victims – Latahesia Hill, Khalil Ameer-Bey, and Kwamir Wise – and the attempted murder of several others.
Exit 4 is the latest gang indictment that DOJ and law enforcement have secured in recent years. Beginning in 2021, prosecutors pursued and secured more than 150 criminal convictions, and prison sentences in excess of three centuries, against members of the violent gang NorthPak. Prosecutors secured convictions against every defendant in the gang MGS, in addition to major prosecutions against the Wilmington area gangs Shoot To Kill, Touch Money Gang, and Only My Brothers, among others.
