Severe Weather Siren Testing Today (Feb 10, 2025)

Rutherford County, NC: Severe weather siren tests will be conducted today (Monday, February 10, 2025) in the following areas:

Town of Lake Lure
Bills Creek
Fairfield
Village of Chimney Rock

This testing is necessary to ensure the operability of our mass notification systems with heavy rain forecasted over the next few days. Testing will conclude today at 5:00pm.
