* WHAT...For the Winter Storm Warning, heavy mixed precipitation expected. Total snow accumulations between 6 and 9 inches and ice accumulations up to one tenth of an inch. For the Ice Storm Warning, significant icing expected. Additional ice accumulations between a quarter of an inch to half of an inch will be possible. Winds gusting as high as 35 mph.
* WHERE...Northwest Pocahontas, Southeast Pocahontas, and Southeast Randolph Counties.
* WHEN...For the Winter Storm Warning, until 11 AM EST Wednesday. For the Ice Storm Warning, from 11 AM Wednesday to 4 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS...Roads, and especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Significant ice accumulation on power lines and tree limbs may cause widespread and long-lasting power outages. Power outages and tree damage are likely due to the ice. Travel could be nearly impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact travel from Tuesday through Thursday.
