This past weekend, Millstadt Officers began investigating an individual who had an active order of protection against him, for making contact multiple times with the protected party via electronic communication. This past Sunday evening, officers received information that lead them to believe he was in the area. A Millstadt Officer found the suspect in the restroom of the village park, on Kalbfleisch Drive. He was taken into custody.
On 2/11 the St. Clair County State's Attorney's Office charged the defendant, Steven G. Akers, with three counts of Violate Order of Protection; a Class A Misdemeanor, Category A Offense.
