Officers were dispatched to the area of the call location on a report of a subject who fled from a vehicle accident. Officers located a subject matching the description. Officers searched the subject and located a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Elijah Rivers, 18, for weapon violations.
2. Person Shot (2312) Buena Vista Avenue / Fremont Street, Civic District
Officers responded to a report of a person shot near the call location. Officers arrived and located the male victim, 20, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital for treatment. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
3. ADW (0000) 300 Block of East Washington Street, Civic District
The male victim, 26, was in the area when the suspect approached him on foot. The suspect struck the victim with an object. The victim escaped on foot and self-transported to an area hospital for treatment. SUSPECT: Unknown race adult male.
4. Traffic Fatality (0440) Sierra Nevada Street and East Washington Street, Park District
Officers responded to a solo vehicle accident near the call location. Upon arrival, officers located the male victim, 68, unresponsive. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries.
