Police have cleared 605 N Delaware St – Again, there was No Threat to School 
UPDATE (10:15am): Police have cleared the location and normal use of the parking lot and street has resumed. Again, there was no threat to students, staff or the general public. There was no crime and the incident was isolated. Thank you for your patience.

San Mateo Police are currently investigating an isolated incident near 605 N Delaware St. This incident is unrelated to the school, and there is no threat to students, staff, or the surrounding community. Officers are on scene conducting their investigation, and there is no impact on school operations.
We understand that police presence near a school can cause concern, but we want to assure you that there is no safety risk. We appreciate your cooperation and will provide updates if necessary.
If you are dropping off students at San Mateo High School, use Humboldt St or Poplar Ave. Avoid N Delaware Street.
