* WHAT...Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.
* WHERE...Portions of north central and northwest Alabama, including the following counties, in north central Alabama, Cullman, Limestone and Morgan. In northwest Alabama, Colbert, Franklin AL, Lauderdale and Lawrence.
* WHEN...Until 900 PM CST.
* IMPACTS...Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 510 PM CST, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rainfall has of 2 to 3 inches of rainfall has fallen over the warned area. Flooding is ongoing in portions of the warned area. Emergency management officials have reported road closings in portions of Lauderdale county. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Decatur, Florence, Athens, Hartselle, Muscle Shoals, Russellville, Sheffield, Tuscumbia, Moulton, Red Bay, Priceville, Trinity, Falkville, Rogersville, Phil Campbell, Killen, Town Creek, Cherokee, Littleville and Lexington. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
