Winter weather advisories have been issued for Morris, Sussex, Warren, western Bergen and western Passaic counties that will take effect at 7 p.m. Wednesday and run until 9 a.m. Thursday.

The weather service says those areas will receive up to an inch of snow and sleet along with a light glaze of ice. Roads and bridges will likely be slippery.

Please prepare accordingly and monitor your local weather service.
