Deputies Arrest Arizona Man for Elder Abuse and Criminal Threats
DATE/TIME: Monday, February 10, 2025, at approximately 6:49 a.m.
INCIDENT: PC 422(A) - Criminal Threats and PC 368(B)(1)- Elder Abuse
LOCATION: 1900 block of Race Street, Needles, CA
SUSPECT(S): Windell Ward, 52-Years-Old, Resident of Mohave Valley, AZ
VICTIM(S): CONFIDENTIAL
SUMMARY: On Monday, February 10, 2025, at approximately 6:49 a.m., deputies assigned to the Colorado River Station/Needles Police Department responded to the 1900 block of Race Street, reference an unknown problem.
When deputies arrived on scene they learned the suspect, Windell Ward, had assaulted and threatened the elderly victim.
Windell Ward was consequently arrested on the above mentioned charges and was transported to the Colorado River Station jail for booking. Ward remains in the custody of the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department with a bail amount of $50,000.00, awaiting a court hearing.
