INCIDENT: V.C 2800.2(A)- Felony Reckless Evading, V.C. 10851-Vehicle Theft, P.C. 496D(A)- Possession of a Stolen Vehicle
LOCATION: Hesperia Road/ Green Tree Blvd, Victorville
SUSPECT(S): Francisco Sebastian, 29-year-old Transient of Hesperia
SUMMARY: On Monday, February 10, 2025, at approximately 5:18 p.m., deputies from the Victorville Police Department located a stolen 1997 GMC Sierra at the intersection of Ottawa Road and Hesperia Road.
Deputies initiated a traffic stop but the driver of the stolen vehicle failed to yield. The driver, Francisco Sebastian, led deputies on a vehicle pursuit, traveling at unsafe speeds and disregarding public safety. The driver stopped the vehicle and led deputies on foot pursuit. With the assistance of Sheriff’s Aviation, deputies took Sebastian into custody.
Francisco Sebastian was arrested and booked at High Desert Detention Center in Adelanto, for V.C 2800.2(A)- Felony Reckless Evading, V.C. 10851- Vehicle Theft, P.C. 496D(A)- Possession of a Stolen Vehicle.
