Officers conducted a traffic enforcement stop in the listed area. Officers searched the vehicle and located a loaded unregistered handgun. The driver and passenger were taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Henry Escarsega, 48, and Leilani Souza, 24, for weapon violations.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0155) 8400 Block of Tam O’Shanter Drive, Valley Oak District
The female victim, 36, was in the listed area when a known suspect assaulted her and struck her in the face with an object. The victim declined medical attention for a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
