2-13-2025: ROUTE 17 SOUTHBOUND WATER MAIN BREAK PREP SCHEDULE & REPAIR
2. Tuesday, February 18 – Waldwick Water Department will perform a temporary water shutdown, between the hours of 9:00am – 12:00pm, in the area of Route 17 South, including Bergen Ave, Lincoln Pl and Waldwick Ave, from Ridge St east to Route 17 South, in order to repair a water main break located on Route 17 South. There may be a disruption in service in the area during this time.
2-13-2025: ROUTE 17 SOUTHBOUND WATER MAIN BREAK PREP SCHEDULE & REPAIR 
The Waldwick Water Department will be performing preparation work and repair work this week and into next week for a water main break on Route 17 South. The work will be broken up into the following 3 Phases:
1. Friday, February 14 – The Waldwick Water Department will be exercising water valves between the hours of 9:00am – 12:00pm, in the area of Route 17 South, including Bergen Ave, Lincoln Pl and Waldwick Ave, from Ridge St east to Route 17 South, in order to perform a repair on a current water main break on Route 17 South. The water main break is between Lincoln Pl heading south to Waldwick Ave, located on the right-hand shoulder of Route 17 South.2. Tuesday, February 18 – Waldwick Water Department will perform a temporary water shutdown, between the hours of 9:00am – 12:00pm, in the area of Route 17 South, including Bergen Ave, Lincoln Pl and Waldwick Ave, from Ridge St east to Route 17 South, in order to repair a water main break located on Route 17 South. There may be a disruption in service in the area during this time.
Lane closures on Route 17 South will be necessary for the temporary water shut down. In addition, the following Borough streets will be affected; Summit Ave, from Traphagen School heading east to Rt 17 S, Bergen Ave from Ridge St heading east to Rt 17 S, Lincoln Pl from Ridge St heading east to Route 17 S and Waldwick Ave from Ridge St heading east to Route 17 S.
THERE WILL BE NO ACCESS TO ROUTE 17 AT THESE POINTS UNTIL THE TEMPORARY SHUTDOWN IS COMPLETED.
3. Wednesday, February 19 – Waldwick Water Department will perform a water shutdown and repair, between the hours of 9:00am – 5:00pm. There may be a disruption in service in the area during this time.
Lane closures on Route 17 South will be necessary during the repair. In addition, the following Borough streets will be affected; Summit Ave, from Traphagen School heading east to Rt 17 S, Bergen Ave from Ridge St heading east to Rt 17 S, Lincoln Pl from Ridge St heading east to Route 17 S and Waldwick Ave from Ridge St heading east to Route 17 S.
THERE WILL BE NO ACCESS TO ROUTE 17 AT THESE POINTS UNTIL THE TEMPORARY SHUTDOWN IS COMPLETED.
If you experience discoloration during this time, please run your cold water until clear.
