...SNOW DEVELOPS THIS AFTERNOON AND CONTINUES INTO TONIGHT WITH THE EVENING COMMUTE LIKELY TO BE IMPACTED... .Snow will develop across eastern Minnesota early this afternoon, then spread into Wisconsin by mid to late afternoon. The snow could be heavy at times during the evening commute. Snow will end across east central Minnesota this evening, but will likely persist in a narrow band through much of the night from portions of far southern Minnesota northeast toward Eau Claire. Total accumulations of around 3 inches are likely, except under the band that continues into early Saturday morning, where a few higher totals are possible.
