INCIDENT: 2025-3962 Serious Motor Vehicle Crash

DETAILS: On Thursday, February 13, 2025 at 3:32 pm, the WWPD Communications Center detailed the West Windsor Division of Fire & Emergency Services, the Patrol Division and Traffic Unit to a Serious Motor Vehicle Collision involving a single vehicle into a tree on Old Trenton Road in the area of Cottonwood Drive.
The initial investigation revealed the following: Vehicle #1, a 2020 Honda Passport, was traveling Southbound on Old Trenton Road approaching Cottonwood Drive. For an unknown reason, Vehicle # 1 drifted across the center line and into the Northbound lane before exiting the roadway where it struck a tree with the driver's side. The vehicle continued forward in the Northbound shoulder where it struck a second tree head on. The second impact caused significant intrusion into the driver's compartment.
Driver #1 was treated by EMS and paramedics on scene and ultimately transported to Capital Health Regional Medical Center by Robert Wood Johnson EMS #110 for treatment of multiple serious but non-life threatenting injuries. The roadway was closed in the area of the collision for approximately 2 hours.
