Marion Woman Charged with Meth Possession
Detective Adam Burnette with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office Community Impact Team charged Susan May Memsen, 63, of Marion with felony Possession of Methamphetamine. She was given a secured bond of $2,500.
On Tuesday, February 11, Detective Burnette initiated a traffic stop on a Dodge Truck. Memsen was a passenger in the vehicle and had an outstanding warrant for her arrest.
A search of her person turned up a suspected amount of methamphetamine.
N.C. State Highway Patrol assisted with the incident.
