WINTER SNOW EVENT 
The City of Viroqua is now under a Winter Snow Event starting Friday February 14, 2025 at 8:00 PM until February 15, 2025 at 6:00 PM.
Once a Winter Snow Event is declared, all vehicles must be removed from any public street or alley until the snow has been removed to the curb line. For more information, please continue reading this post.
The City of Viroqua has an ordinance regarding on-street parking during the snow season. The ordinance allows overnight parking on City streets at all times of the year EXCEPT in the instance of a "Winter Snow Event" - which is defined as any instance in which there is a snowfall of 1 1/2 inches or more. When the snowfall threshold is met, the Viroqua Public Works Department or Police Dept will issue a city-wide notification via the Nixle emergency alert.
