Winter Storm Report – February 15th, 2025 
Happy Saturday! 

I am not worried about the snow today. I am more concerned with flooding at our usual locations and, more importantly, wind! Lots of Wind!! Key up the music.......  

🎵 Snow Miser Takes the Stage 🎵 
"Ahh, what a delightful day to dust the world in a frosty white embrace! Starting around 1 PM, snowflakes will dance down from the sky, but don’t expect a grand show—less than an inch of accumulation before the main event. But hey, every good winter storm needs a teaser, right?" 

🔥 Heat Miser Turns Up the Heat 🔥 
"Now, now, enough of that chilly nonsense! By 4 PM, I’ll be warming things up, turning that snow into a wintry mix. And by tonight? Oh, you better believe it—it's all rain, heavy rain, soaking everything overnight. A whole 1-2 inches of liquid gold, enough to cause some localized flooding. I do love making an entrance!" 

🌪️ Dorothy & Toto Get Swept In 🌪️ 
Dorothy: "Toto, I don’t think we’re in Kansas anymore… these 45-60 mph winds are about to carry us off!" 
Toto: Clearly not happy. 

Dorothy: "Hold onto your hats, folks! These powerful gusts will start Sunday afternoon and last through Monday. Expect potential power outages, downed trees, and general chaos! If only I had my ruby slippers to click us out of this one!" 

❄️ Snow Miser’s Chilly Comeback ❄️ 
"Not so fast, Heat Miser! By Monday, I’ll be back in action, dropping those temperatures to single digits. Winds will make it feel even colder, so bundle up! You didn’t think I’d let winter slip away that easily, did you?" 

I can't stress enough for this storm that the rain comes in overnight making flooded roads hard to see. Flooded road = Turn Around. I can't count the number of expensive cars that have been destroyed going into very little water.  

Also, pets inside please. Secure small pets to larger children and keep them inside. Teen-Age-Shovel-App will not be needed. Secure all outdoor items and be ready for power outages.  The Storm Preparedness Sheet has all the contact numbers for all the utilities.   

Stay safe & warm (or dry), and watch out for flying bicycles! (There's a cow. There's another cow. I think that's the same cow!)  🌨️💨🌧️
