Gibson County in Tennessee... North Central Haywood County in Tennessee... Western Henry County in Tennessee... Southeastern Lake County in Tennessee... Northeastern Lauderdale County in Tennessee... Obion County in Tennessee... Weakley County in Tennessee...

* At 920 AM CST, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is expected to begin within the next few hours. HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE...Radar. IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Dyersburg, Martin, Union City, Milan, McKenzie, Trenton, Reelfoot Lake State Park, Newbern, Dresden, Alamo, South Fulton, Dyer, Halls, Greenfield, Ridgely, Gleason, Troy, Kenton, Rutherford and Obion. This is a proactive flash flood warning. The conditions are quite favorable for this area to start seeing significant flooding in the next several hours, though there may not be flooding ongoing right now.
