1. Shooting into a Dwelling (1850) 100 Block of Wait Avenue, Seaport District
The victims were in the area when they heard 3-4 gunshots and found that a bullet had struck a gate to the location. The victims were not injured, and there is no suspect information.
2. Resisting Arrest (2055) 00 Block of West Vine Street, Civic District
The female victim, 21, was in a physical altercation with the suspect, who assaulted her and struck her with an object. Officers located the suspect, who resisted, and force was used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Erik Cruz-Perez, H/M/25, for assault and resisting arrest.
3. Pursuit and Weapons Arrest (0220) March Lane and Brookside Road, Lakeview District
Officers attempted an enforcement stop on a vehicle for traffic violations. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a pursuit. The driver eventually yielded and was taken into custody without incident. Officers
located a loaded firearm in the vehicle. ARRESTED: Hector Reyes-Molina, 36, for pursuit and weapons charges.
4. Homicide (0319) 1900 Block of Hickock Court, Bear Creek District
Officers responded to the call location on a report of a person shot. Upon arrival, officers located the female victim, 28, suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to an area hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries. Detectives were notified and assumed the investigation.
