* Flash Flood Warning for... Russell County in southwestern Virginia... Scott County in southwestern Virginia... Western Washington County in southwestern Virginia... Southeastern Wise County in southwestern Virginia...

* Until 630 PM EST.

* At 431 PM EST, Doppler radar and public reports on social media indicated heavy rain across the warned area is producing dangerous flooding conditions. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Public reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Lebanon, Gate City, Weber City, Cleveland Va, Coeburn, Honaker, St. Paul, Nickelsville, Dungannon, Clinchport, Castlewood, Collingwood, Hansonville, Benhams, Holston, Hiltons, Fort Blackmore, Rosedale and Dye.
