EFFECTIVE 11 PM SAT. FEBRUARY 15. Vehicle parking is prohibited on City streets during SNOW EMERGENCY. 
A SNOW EMERGENCY HAS BEEN DECLARED EFFECTIVE SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2025 at 11 PM.
Due to the forecasted storm, we will declare a snow emergency. While the exact snowfall remains uncertain, we’re taking precautions to keep the community safe.
For the safety of your vehicles and for snow removal purposes, vehicle parking is prohibited on City streets during a snow emergency. Vehicles may not be put back in the street until the snow emergency has been canceled.
A Snow Emergency is automatically in effect whenever 3 or more inches of snow have fallen, BUT CAN BE CALLED FOR SNOW AMOUNTS UNDER 3 INCHES AND FOR ICE.
Notification of a snow emergency and it's cancellation can be found on GCTV, www.gardencitymi.org, on local Detroit television and radio outlets, or you can be notified automatically through Nixle on your cell phone or to your e-mail account.
