SUMMARY:
On February 13, 2025, at about 3:21 PM, deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Police Department responded to a residential burglary on the 11200 block of Baltimore Drive. A reporting party called 911 to report suspicious activity at her neighbor’s house. The caller saw a suspicious vehicle, described as a black Ford Edge, parked in front of the neighbor’s residence. Two unknown subjects, wearing all black clothing, exited the vehicle and entered the backyard of the residence. The caller saw the suspicious vehicle leave the location and the two subjects flee on foot.

Detectives and deputies arrived and conducted an extensive area check. Detectives located a vehicle that fit the description at a nearby shopping center. The vehicle was occupied by one subject, later identified as Juan Carlo Aguerra-Gomez. Aguerra-Gomez was detained while deputies continued to search for additional suspects.

Aguerra-Gomez was determined to be the get-a-way driver of the incident and was arrested and booked at the West Valley Detention Center for PC 459- Residential Burglary. Additional suspects were not identified or located, and the investigation is ongoing.
