National Weather Service has issued a FLASH FLOOD WARNING in effect for Northwestern Cheatham County until midnight CST tonight. At 5:36 PM CST, emergency management reports flash flooding and mulitple roads flooded across the warned area. Between 3 and 5 inches of rain has fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 2 to 4 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing, and some intensification is expected with the storms this evening.
