* Flash Flood Warning for... Russell County in southwestern Virginia... Scott County in southwestern Virginia... Western Washington County in southwestern Virginia... Southeastern Wise County in southwestern Virginia...

* Until 1000 PM EST.

* At 750 PM EST, Flooding continues to impact the warned area. Between 1.5 and 3 inches of rain fell earlier today. Flash flooding is already occurring. Water rescues have occurred. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Heavy rain producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Law enforcement reported. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.

* Some locations that may experience flash flooding include... Lebanon, Gate City, Weber City, Cleveland Va, Coeburn, Honaker, St. Paul, Nickelsville, Dungannon, Clinchport, Castlewood, Collingwood, Hansonville, Benhams, Holston, Hiltons, Fort Blackmore, Rosedale and Dye. Additional rain is expected during the early morning hours, which may aggravate flooding conditions.
