JCP&L Power Outage Update / Senior Center opening at 12:30 P.M. 
According to JCP&L currently 2,754 customers are without power and the approximate restoration time provided by JCP&L varies by location, with the latest at 11:00 P.M. JCP&L is working to restore power to the areas affected as quickly as possible. They advised OEM that they are hoping to restore power to most of those impacted by early afternoon. Crews are actively working near the substation.
Monroe Twp. OEM and Mayor Dalina have been in continuous contact with JCP&L advising them that this outage is affecting a large senior and vulnerable population.
If you are a resident who is dependent on medical equipment and electricity, the Senior Center will open at 12:30 P.M for those who need to charge their medical devices and as a warming center. If you need assistance, as always call the non-emergency Police number 732-521-0222.
