NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE

City of East Chicago Water Department – Chicago Avenue Partial Road Closure: This notice is to inform you that the roadways on Chicago Avenue, from the 4700 Block of Parrish to Alder Avenue, will be partially closed temporarily (reduced to one (1) lane) to vehicular traffic for approximately thirty (30) days due to East Chicago Water Department performing 16” water main replacement type work within the vicinity. Upon work being completed which will take approximately thirty (30) days, the roadway will reopen to vehicular traffic. Updates will be provided should additional areas be affected and relating to this road closures.
