Winter Weather Advisory until 12:00PM Wednesday

...A WINTER STORM WILL IMPACT THE MIDSOUTH LATE TUESDAY THROUGH WEDNESDAY MORNING... .A deepening upper level low pressure system will interact with an approaching Arctic cold front to bring impactful snowfall to the Midsouth Tuesday night into early Wednesday morning. At this time, snowfall of 3 to 5 inches is forecast north of Interstate 40. Up to 6 inches will be possible in localized bands near Missouri and Kentucky borders. South of I-40, a mixture of light freezing rain, sleet and snow is forecast, with snow amounts generally 1 to 3 inches.

* WHAT...Mixed precipitation expected. Total snow and sleet accumulations up to one inch and ice accumulations around a light glaze.

* WHERE...Portions of East Arkansas, North Mississippi, and West Tennessee.

* WHEN...From noon Tuesday to noon CST Wednesday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commutes.
