NOTICE OF ROAD CLOSURE

City of East Chicago Water Department – Chicago Avenue Partial Road Closure: This notice is to inform you that the roadways along 5400 Walsh Ave, 5400 S. Roxanna Dr, N Roxanna Dr to Indianapolis Blvd., will be closed between the hours of 7:00am-4:30pm Monday thru Friday from February 17, 2025 through approximatley June 30, 2025 to vehicular traffic due to the East Chicago Water Department installing a 12” water main within the vicinity. Upon work being completed which will take approximately three (3) months, the roadway will reopen to vehicular traffic. Updates will be provided should additional areas be affected and relating to this road closures.
