Winter Storm Warning until 01:00PM Thursday

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected. Total snow accumulations between 3 and 5 inches in lower elevations, and between 4 and 7 inches in the higher terrain.

* WHERE...Portions of northeast Kentucky and southeast, southern, and western West Virginia.

* WHEN...From 10 PM this evening to 1 PM EST Thursday.

* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Wednesday morning and evening commutes, as well as the Thursday morning commute.

* AFFECTED AREAS: LAWRENCE ... WAYNE ... LINCOLN ... BOONE ... NORTHWEST RALEIGH ... SOUTHEAST RALEIGH ... SOUTHEAST FAYETTE ... SOUTHEAST NICHOLAS
