Cline Charged with Truck Theft
Detective Grant Robinson with the McDowell County Sheriff’s Office charged 26-year-old Joshua Mark Cline, of Marion, with felony Larceny. He was given a secured bond of $5,500.
On July 17, 2024, deputies took a report from an individual about a stolen truck. The truck had an estimated value of $2,000.
The victim reported that Cline was given a ride to a local mobile home park. Upon arrival, the victim stepped out of the truck to get water from a nearby creek due to the truck overheating. While doing so, Cline drove off in the vehicle.
The investigation identified Cline as a suspect and the truck was recovered.
Cline was arrested on February 2, 2025, and transported to the McDowell County Detention Center.
