Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Burglary Suspect
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. seeks the public’s help in identifying the suspect pictured below concerning a burglary and a victim’s bank debit card stolen from her vehicle on February 11, 2025.
The victim parked her vehicle at approximately 10:39 p.m. in the 500 block of South 10th Street on February 10, 2025. When she returned the next day at approximately 7:40 a.m., the victim’s passenger window was broken and her
wallet with the debit card was missing. On surveillance video, the suspect in the picture below used the victim’s debit card at approximately 12:42 a.m. to spend $51 at the Speedway Gas Station in the 200 block of Elizabeth Avenue.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the suspect’s identity to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
