On behalf of Mayor Michael Johnson, Haledon Emergency Management Coordinator Carlos Aymat, Chief of Police Angelo J. Daniele, and Fire Chief Tom Bakker, please be advised that the Haledon Police Department, the Haledon Fire Department, along with mutual aid fire departments, are at the scene of a structure fire at 400 Central Avenue.
Although the fire is contained, the public is advised to avoid the area and use an alternate route until further notice. The Haledon Office of Emergency Management, Haledon Fire Prevention Bureau, Haledon Building Department, and Haledon Department of Public Works have also been alerted.
