Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. seeks the public’s help in identifying the male suspect pictured here, who stabbed a victim attempting to break up a fight on Monday, February 17, 2025.
At approximately 2 a.m., the victim left Nuestra Casa Bar & Restaurant in the city’s Ironbound section and saw his friend fighting at the intersection of Ferry and Van Buren Streets. When he tried to break up the altercation, the suspect stabbed him in the arm. After the attack, the suspect fled westbound on Ferry Street with three other people.
