MONDAY, FEBRUARY 10, 2025:
9:04 AM Community Service Officer (CSO) Lau recovered a stolen vehicle near Cherry St & Stevenson Blvd.
10:22 AM Officer Berlanga investigated a theft near Central Ave & Filbert St. Reported loss included tools taken from the rear of a vehicle.
12:10 PM CSO Lau investigated a license plate theft near Cedar Blvd & Central Ave.
5:07 PM Officer Berlanga conducted a welfare check near Lafayette Ave & Sandalwood St. A 43-year-old female was arrested for an outstanding warrant and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
9:28 PM Officer Williams was on routine patrol and observed an unsanctioned fire burning near Hickory St & Thornton Ave. A 31-year-old male was arrested for violation of probation, and possession of narcotics and stolen property. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 11, 2025:
11:39 AM Officer Shaffer recovered a stolen license plate near Sycamore St & Graham Ave.
12:03 PM CSO Lau investigated a mailbox theft that occurred near Lido Blvd & Normandy Dr.
1:01 PM Officer Kim recovered a stolen vehicle near Jarvis Ave & Newark Blvd.
7:34 PM Officer Dale initiated a traffic stop near Newark Blvd & Jarvis Ave. A 24-year-old male was cited for driving with a suspended license.
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 12, 2025:
12:40 AM Officer Williams initiated a traffic stop near Mowry Ave & Cherry St. A 70-year-old male was cited for driving on a suspended license.
3:27 AM Officer Dale responded to a commercial burglary reported in the area of Newark & Cedar Boulevards. The front door was observed forced open; no loss was determined.
11:00 AM CSO Lau investigated a package theft that occurred near Newark Blvd & Jarvis Ave, then a theft of tools and a garage door opener from a vehicle parked near Cedar Blvd & Port Sailwood Dr.
2:35 PM Officer Piquette investigated a bicycle theft near Newark Blvd & Jarvis Ave.
4:12 PM Officer C. Torres conducted a pedestrian stop near Cedar & Stevenson Boulevards. A 67-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics and multiple outstanding warrants. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
7:22 PM Officer Williams initiated a traffic stop in the area of Cedar Blvd & Mowry Ave. A 35-year-old male was arrested for driving with a suspended license and was released with a citation.
10:16 PM CSO Mora investigated a package theft near Mowry School Rd & Cedar Blvd.
THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 13, 2025:
7:40 AM Officer Leath investigated multiple vehicle burglaries that occurred in the area of Cedar Blvd & Joaquin Murieta Ave. Reported loss included tools.
8:28 AM Officer Lor was responded to multiple window smash vehicle burglaries on Newpark Mall Road. Reported loss included tools.
1:23 PM CSO Lau responded to a maintenance room burglary near Cedar Blvd & Joaquin Murieta Ave. The door was observed to be forced open. No loss was reported.
2:42 PM CSO Lau investigated a commercial burglary near Haley & Bettencourt Streets. Gym weights were reported to be taken.
5:02 PM Officer Leath responded to a disturbance in the area of Cedar Blvd & Dupont Ave. A 32-year-old female was arrested for domestic violence and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 14, 2025:
8:24 AM Officer Lara responded to a disturbance reported near Cherry St & Dairy Ave. A 32-year-old female was arrested for domestic violence and child abuse. She was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
9:29 AM Officer Lor responded to a vehicle theft reported on Mayhews Landing Road.
10:00 AM Officer Piquette investigated a commercial burglary near Mirabeau & Orleans Dr. Loss of copper and metal components were reported.
3:13 PM Officer Lara was dispatched to a license plate theft that occurred near Jarvis Ave & Gateway Blvd.
9:35 PM Officer Medina initiated a traffic stop on Cedar Blvd & Smith St. A 31-year-old male was cited for driving with a suspended license.
9:47 PM Officer Swadener investigated a license plate theft reported near Sycamore St & Dairy Ave.
SATURDAY, FEBRUARY 15, 2025:
4:01 AM Officer Orozco responded to a report of smoke on Newpark Mall Road. A 43-year-old male was arrested for possession of narcotics and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
7:54 PM Officer Berlanga investigated the theft of wheels taken from a vehicle parked near Sycamore St & Thornton Ave.
8:12 AM Officer Jackman investigated an attempted vehicle theft on Gateway Blvd. The door lock was forced open, and ignition was tampered with.
12:26 PM Officer Taylor investigated a report of gasoline theft near Thornton Ave & Mulberry St.
2:30 PM Officer Jackman responded to a report of arson near Edgewater Dr & Abbotford Ct.
6:23 PM Officer C. Torres responded to a disturbance near Cedar Court & Cedar Blvd. A 46-year-old male was arrested for public intoxication, vandalism, and violation of probation. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
9:16 PM Officer Orozco investigated an attempted vehicle theft near Newark Blvd & Jarvis Ave. The ignition was tampered with, and miscellaneous items were taken.
9:50 PM Officer Losier responded to a person down reported near Central Ave & Hyacinth St. A 28-year-old male was cited for possession of narcotics.
10:46 PM Officer Soto responded to a vehicle collision near Cherry St & Dairy Ave. A 31-year-old male was arrested for driving under the influence and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
SUNDAY, FEBRUARY 16, 2025:
12:29 AM Officer Berlanga conducted a security check on Central Ave & I-880. A 35-year-old male was located with an outstanding warrant. He was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
1:36 PM Officer Stevenson was dispatched to a vehicle theft reported on Mayhews Landing Road. The vehicle was later recovered by another agency.
8:41 PM CSO Vuong investigated a report of mail theft near Cherry St & Mowry Ave.
11:40 PM Officer Orozco responded to a disturbance near Cedar Blvd & Mowry Ave. A 36-year-old male was arrested for outstanding warrants and was booked into Santa Rita Jail.
