...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana... Kentucky... Ohio River at Clifty Creek affecting Jefferson and Trimble Counties. Ohio River at Cannelton Lock and Dam affecting Breckinridge, Crawford, Perry and Hancock Counties. Ohio River at McAlpine Lower affecting Hardin, Meade, Clark, Harrison, Jefferson and Floyd Counties. Ohio River at McAlpine Upper affecting Floyd, Jefferson, Clark and Oldham Counties. Ohio River at Tell City affecting Perry and Hancock Counties. .Heavy rain from last weekend has caused the river to rise.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...Ohio River at Cannelton Lock and Dam.

* WHEN...Until Monday afternoon.

* IMPACTS...At 39.0 feet, Highway 66 floods near Derby - Dexter area. At 42.0 feet, Agricultural flooding begins near Cloverport and Cannelton. Highway 66 floods near Derby and Dexter. Rocky Point Girl Scout camp is affected.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 5:00 AM EST Thursday /4:00 AM CST Thursday/ the stage was 45.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 39.0 feet. - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 45.9 feet just after midnight tonight. It will then fall below flood stage late Monday morning. - Flood stage is 42.0 feet. - Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 44.5 feet on 02/17/2020. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
