Wilmington Police Cold Case Unit requests public assistance in connection to 2000 murder of Carmen Rodriguez: 
The Wilmington Police Department’s Cold Case Unit is asking for the assistance of the public in connection to the 2000 murder of Carmen Rodriguez.
On July 9, 2000, police located 28-year-old Carmen Rodriguez in the early morning hours near a park bench at East 26th Street and Speakman Place. She died as a result of several injuries.
This investigation remains ongoing, and investigators are asking the public for assistance.

The Wilmington Police Department’s Cold Case Unit is part of the department’s Criminal Investigations Division.
