There was one robbery during the past week.
On Tuesday, 02-11-25, at approximately 12:41 a.m., officers were dispatched to the unit block of West Cavour Street on a report of a suspect breaking the front door. The first victim stated that a known suspect had kicked open the front door to her apartment. A second victim stated that after the suspect entered the apartment, she attempted to push him back. The suspect then pushed her, and a physical struggle ensued over her purse. The known suspect emptied the purse’s contents, took a set of keys, and fled. The following day, the suspect, a 20-year-old San Francisco resident, was located, arrested, and booked into jail for residential burglary, robbery, and other offenses.

Have you signed up to receive these alerts? Nextdoor.com
Nextdoor.com is a free private social networking website for your neighborhood. This private network ensures that only those who live in your neighborhood can join; users must go through a verification process. Neighbors ask each other for business recommendations; help in locating missing pets; discuss relevant local government issues; or connect for other reasons. It is very easy to sign up. I like the fact that the site verifies users by addresses, and it won’t allow people to access a neighborhood if they don’t live there. Please note: The City of Daly City and/or the Police Department cannot see what residents post—we are only allowed to post information. There is also a mobile application, or you can have it sent to your e-mail. Give it a try! www.nextdoor.com
