Investigation Leads to Arrest of Convicted Sex Offender for Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material

SUSPECT(S): Tyler Lyttle, 36-year-old resident of San Bernardino
VICTIM(S): State of California
SUMMARY: On February 18, 2025, detectives with the San Bernardino County Sheriff's Department's Fontana Station investigated a cybertip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, in reference to the possession of child sexual abuse material. Detectives were able to identify the suspect as Tyler Lyttle, a 36-year-old resident of San Bernardino. Lyttle is currently on felony probation in San Bernardino County and is a registered sex offender.
On February 19, 2025, detectives located Lyttle in the city of San Bernardino, where he was arrested without incident. Detectives also recovered additional evidence related to the investigation. Lyttle was booked into custody at the Central Detention Center and is currently being held without bail.
