Suspects Arrested for Multiple Crimes in San Mateo and Foster City
The San Mateo and Foster City Police Departments collaboratively worked together to arrest suspects after stealing in both cities and attempting to flee from police in a stolen vehicle.
San Mateo, CA – On February 20, 2025, at 5:34 p.m., the San Mateo Police Department received a call from an employee of Target, located in the Bridgepointe Shopping Center, about a theft that just occurred. The employee told officers the suspects had left the business after stealing alcohol and fled in a silver Honda. The employee was able to provide a good description of the four suspects, one male and three females, and the vehicle they left in.
While an officer was talking to the Target employee other officers searched the surrounding area for the silver Honda, however the suspect car was not located. The Foster City Police Department was alerted of the incident and the description of the suspect vehicle.
At 7:21 p.m., the Foster City Police Department received a call from and employee at Lucky’s Supermarket, located near Edgewater Boulevard and Beach Park Boulevard about a vandalism. The reporting party said a suspect threw a bottle of alcohol into a glass door, shattering the door. Foster City officers responded to Lucky’s Supermarket to investigate and learned the four suspects, one male and three females, entered a silver Honda and fled the scene. A witness of the incident was able to tell officers what direction the suspect vehicle fled. Foster City officers found the silver Honda driving north on Norfolk Street in San Mateo and attempted to stop the vehicle, however the driver failed to stop and fled from police. The driver sped through the streets of San Mateo turning westbound on Fashion Island Boulevard, failing to stop at multiple stop lights and stop signs. Due to the reckless driving of the suspect and the danger to community members, officers stopped pursuing the suspect vehicle.
A few minutes later, the San Mateo Police Department received multiple calls about a traffic collision at the intersection of South Grant Street and Betty Lane. One of the callers said a silver Honda was involved in the traffic collision and four people, one male and three females, ran from the car. San Mateo and Foster City police officers responded to the scene of the traffic collision and started searching for the fleeing suspects. Officers quickly found the four suspects hiding nearby in Leslie Creek. All four suspects were detained without further incident. The suspects were identified as Jasani Holmes, Jalea Graham, and Leah Trevillion. The fourth suspect was transported to a local hospital with injuries sustained in the traffic collision.
San Mateo and Foster City police officers worked together to investigate the crimes that occurred at different locations throughout both cities. Through the investigations, officers determined the silver Honda was previously reported stolen, and along with the alcohol they stole from Target, the suspects also stole alcohol from Lucky’s Supermarket. Holmes, Graham, and Trevillion were all arrested and booked into the San Mateo County Jail on multiple charges.
We need the community’s support in reporting crimes and being a good witness. If you witness a crime, contact police immediately. Try to remain as calm as possible and do your best to answer questions on the phone. Remember details such as the suspect’s appearance, clothing, any distinguishing features, and which direction they flee. Once the police arrive at the scene, cooperate fully, and provide the officers with all the information you have. Your observations can greatly assist law enforcement in their investigation.
