The Cape Charles Police Department is investigating a fatal stabbing that occurred on Tuesday evening at the Myrtle Landing Apartments, formerly known as Heritage Acres. Officers responded to the scene following a call and discovered the victim, Calvin Cummings, deceased.
 
No arrests have yet been made, but the Police Department is working closely with the Commonwealth’s Attorney and other law enforcement agencies as the investigation and search continues. 
 
As this case remains open and active, no further details can be released at this time; however additional information will be provided should there be any public safety concern.
