February 21, 2025:
- Officer Frazier conducted a traffic stop near Cooper Street and East Argyle Street. The 23-year-old male driver received a citation for driving with a suspended license, and was arrested for conditional bond violation. A 59-year-old male was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Allison visited with students at Bennett Elementary School.
- Officer Marcum conducted foot patrol at the Jackson Crossing Mall.
- Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop at Carl Breeding Way and Mitchell Street. The 20-year-old female driver was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop near Lansing Avenue and Royal Drive. A 24-year-old female was arrested on an outstanding felony warrant.
- Officers completed several liquor inspections throughout the City.
- Officer Frazier conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Orange Street. The 35-year-old male driver was arrested for driving under the influence of narcotics.
- Officer Elston and Officer Richardson located a vehicle reported stolen near Page Avenue and W.G. Wade Drive. The vehicle was returned to the owner.
- Officers were dispatched to a domestic dispute in the 400 block of Madison Street. A 26-year-old male was arrested for domestic assault.
- Officers responded to the 600 block of West Prospect Street for a domestic dispute. A 35-year-old male was arrested for violating a personal protection order.
- Officer Marcum was dispatched to the 1600 block of North West Avenue for a subject shoplifting. A suspect has been identified.
- Officer Elston and Officer Richardson responded to the 1200 block of Williams Street for a larceny report. A firearm was entered into the national database as stolen.
- Officer Soloman conducted a traffic stop near Lansing Avenue and Hillsdale Street. The 37-year-old male driver was arrested for fleeing and eluding, and an outstanding felony warrant. The driver was also the suspect in the shoplifting incident listed above.
- Officer Mills was dispatched to the 300 block of West Franklin Street for a personal welfare check.
