1. Carjacking (2230) 1900 Block of North Wilson Way, Park District
The male victim, 42, was in the area to meet a known suspect when he was assaulted by four additional suspects, who took his belongings and fled in his vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECTS: Hispanic female, Hispanic male, and three unknown race males.
2. Carjacking (2345) 3400 Block of West Hammer Lane, Bear Creek District
The male victim, 38, was in the area when the suspect assaulted him, took his belongings, and fled in his vehicle. The victim was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. SUSPECT: Black male adult.
3. Weapon Arrest (0420) 1500 Block of East Eighth Street, Park District
Officers investigated a traffic collision and saw a loaded handgun in the suspect’s vehicle. Officers also found illegal narcotics inside the car. The suspect was taken into custody without incident. ARRESTED: Seventeen-year-old male for weapon and narcotics charges.
