SUSPECT(S): Orlando Diaz, a 49-year-old resident of Chino Hills
VICTIM(S): Confidential
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, February 18, 2025, Chino Hills deputies responded to a 9-1-1 call in the 15400 block of Roanoak Way in Chino Hills. Deputies contacted a male adult suffering from a head wound. Deputies learned the victim was involved in an argument with a family member, Orlando Diaz. During the argument, Diaz struck the victim in the head with a blunt force weapon. Diaz used the weapon to vandalize a vehicle before he fled the home. Deputies obtained a warrant for Diaz's arrest.
On Thursday, February 20, 2025, Chino Hills Multiple Enforcement Team deputies contacted Diaz at a park in Eastvale and arrested him. He was interviewed by detectives and booked at West Valley Detention Center.
