Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. requests the public’s help in identifying the below-pictured male suspect in connection with a theft that occurred on Friday, February 14, 2025.
At approximately 11:27 a.m., a male suspect took a delivered package from the lobby of an apartment building in the 1000 block of South Orange Avenue. The suspect put the package inside a blue Walmart bag that he was carrying. He is described as a Black male, wearing a black North Face hooded sweatshirt, black jacket with a neon green liner, black pants, black shoes, and carrying a black backpack along with the blue Walmart bag.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information regarding the identity of this suspect to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are kept confidential and could result in a reward.
