As part of intersection improvements at the Fremont Boulevard and Country Drive intersection, the City’s contractor will be scheduling a traffic signal switchover this Wednesday, Feb. 26. On the day of the signal switchover, the traffic signal will be turned off between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm. The intersection will be controlled by stop signs and/or flaggers while the signal is turned off and it’s expected to increase drive time delay through the intersection. The signal should be functioning again before school gets out at Washington High School.
Expect delays from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. Please use alternate routes. It is highly recommended to avoid driving through the intersection between 9:00 am and 2:00 pm on the day of the traffic signal switchover this Wednesday, February 26.
