Wilmington Police arrest male juvenile in connection with armed robbery:
Wilmington Police have arrested a male juvenile in connection with an armed robbery following an investigation.
On February 7, police received a report of an armed robbery that had occurred at approximately 6:40 p.m., in the 2400 block of North Tatnall Street. The case was assigned to Detective Kevin Murphy of the Criminal Investigations Division. Through the course of his investigation, Detective Murphy identified a 13-year-old male juvenile as a suspect, and obtained warrants for his arrest. On February 21, members of the Gun Intelligence Unit conducted a vehicle stop in the area of Maryland Avenue and South Broom Street, and took the 13-year-old male juvenile into custody without incident.
The 13-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Robbery (First Degree)
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony
