Rohnert Park, CA – February 25, 2025 – On the afternoon of February 25, 2025, at approximately 2:19 PM, law enforcement officers in Rohnert Park initiated contact with Calvin Tsui, age 40, from Yuba City, and a female accomplice in connection with the suspected use of counterfeit bills at a local Walmart. Upon approach, the pair quickly fled the scene in their vehicle.
Officers did not immediately pursue the suspects; however, just moments later, the vehicle crashed into another car at the intersection of Redwood and Business Park. Fortunately, the driver of the other vehicle was unharmed. Following the collision, both suspects exited the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers pursued Tsui, who was apprehended behind the Press Democrat building.
During the foot pursuit, Tsui discarded a handgun, which was later recovered by law enforcement. Additionally, it was discovered that Tsui had outstanding warrants related to Post-Release Community Supervision (PRCS) violations. Tsui was subsequently booked into jail on multiple charges.
The female accomplice was not located during the incident and remains outstanding.

- HS 11364(A) – Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia
- PC 148(A)(1) – Obstruction/Resisting Arrest
- PC 148.9(A) – Giving False Identification to Police Officers
- VC 20002(A) – Hit and Run (Property Damage)
- PC 182(A)(1) – Conspiracy to Commit a Crime
- VC 14601.1(A) – Driving with a Suspended or Revoked License
- PC 466 – Possession of Burglary Tools
