ORIGINAL PRESS RELEASE IS AS FOLLOWS:
Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Missing Person Unit is asking for the public’s help locating at-risk missing person, James Dock Thompson Jr. (a.k.a. Pookie). He is a 71-year-old male Black who was last seen on February 23, 2025, at 5:30 p.m., on the 13800 block of Paramount Boulevard, in the city of Paramount.
Mr. Thompson is 5’11” tall, 175 lbs. with black hair, brown eyes, and a fullbeard. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, brown pants, and two white metal rings on his right hand.
Mr. Thompson suffers from early stages of dementia, and has a left foot deformity. His family is concerned for his well-being and asking for the public's help.
