Police Seek Public’s Help Locating Jersey City Men and Newark Woman Wanted for Questioning in Home Invasion/Carjacking
Newark Public Safety Director Emanuel Miranda, Sr. requests the public’s help locating Hendrika Jones, 31, of Newark, Steven Howard, 28, and Corey Wilson, 29, both of Jersey City. All three are wanted for questioning about a home invasion and carjacking on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
At approximately 2 a.m., the victim was leaving his residence in the 400 block of Irvine Turner Boulevard when two individuals wearing black clothing and ski masks assaulted him. They rifled through his pockets and took his car keys and vehicle, a 2018 grey Chevrolet Malibu. Police located the vehicle five days later in Jersey City on February 16, 2025.
Howard, a Black male, is described as 6’1” and 200 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. Wilson is described as 5’8” and 180 pounds. Jones, a Black female, is described as 5’0” and 120 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.
Director Miranda urges anyone with information on the whereabouts of these individuals to call the Police Division’s 24-hour Crime Stopper tip line at 1-877-NWK-TIPS (1-877-695-8477). All anonymous Crime Stopper tips are confidential and could result in a reward.
